Hannah O’Reilly is an Irish Actor, Director, and Theatremaker.
She is a Theatre graduate of NUIG, and Bow Street Screen Acting Academy, and has trained in many Theatre styles such as Commedia, Physical Theatre, and Stanislavsky. She is an award winning comedic actress, and has honed her career making original ensemble-based work, as a performer, and director.
Theatre Credits include: Polly in SAVAGE HEART (UK tour, 2022), Understudy for Slippy Helen in THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN (Gaiety Theatre, 2019), THE SHADOW OF CARMILLA/SCÁTH AND TSÚMAIRE (Galway Theatre Festival, 2018), Coiscéim’s immersive dance piece, 38 WOMEN (Collin’s Barracks, 2017), DISCRETION GUARANTEED by Gingerly Theatre, Brokentalkers & Junk Ensemble’s IT FOLDS (Abbey Theatre & Edinburgh Fringe, 2016), FLEABAG (Smock Alley, 2015), SPRING AWAKENING (Black Box Theatre, 2013) and The Irish premiere of PERVE (Nun’s Island Theatre, 2012).
On screen, most recently Hannah has appeared in Klaus Haro’s MY SAILOR, MY LOVE (2022); TV show RED ELECTION (2021) dir. Declan Recks, David Freyne’s Amazon Prime feature DATING AMBER(2020), and Daire McNab’s THE LAST ROLE (2020). She featured in The London Irish Abroad’s viral HOME TO VOTE CAMPAIGN (2018).
She won Best Comedian in the Toronto Couch Film Festival, for her performance in The Last Role, (2020), and is a budding Stand-Up Comedian in London.
She has also worked as choreographer for NUIG’s production of Reefer Madness in 2012, and directed ThereisBear Theatre’s The Last Burning (National Tour, 2012).
