Simon recently played the lead part of Arnolphe in AC Productions version of Moliere’s play, THE SCHOOL FOR WIVES adapted and directed by Peter Reid.
He trained in the Focus Stanislavsky studio under the late Deirdre O’Conell . He also trained with Kaos UK and with Eugenio Barba in the International School Of Theatre Anthropology. He has worked with acclaimed companies such as Spacecraft, The Theatre Of Joy and was a Co founder, writer/ performer with the award winning Fallen Angels.
His one man show “The friends of Jack Kairo” saw him nominated best male performer of the Fringe 2005 and also saw him shortlisted for the List magazines best new writing award(Writers guild of great Britain) at the Edinburgh Fringe 2006.
He was also 4 times nominated for the Herald Angel best actor award. He holds a Masters in Drama from UCD and he has toured internationally with his work, most recently with his acclaimed performance in the Stewart Parker nominated “Revenant” by Stewart Roche.
