Playing Age: 16 – 25
Samantha is a Welsh actress, who professionally trained at The Poor School in London, as well as The Sylvia Young Theatre Academy.
Some of her stage credits include Peter Whelan’s ‘The Accrington Pals’, in which she played one of the leading roles, Bertha, with Director Trudi Rees at The Workhouse Theatre in London.
Edith, in Nowel Coward’s ‘Blithe Spirit’, directed by Chris Dunham, also at The Workhouse Theatre in London.
Penguin in a touring production of “Wings To Fly’ Directed by Karen Livingstone and produced by Gwent PCC.
Whilst training at The Poor School, Samantha’s credits include Isabella in ‘Measure for Measure’, Varya in The Cherry Orchard’, Hedda in Hedda Gabler, Little Red Riding Hood in ‘Into The Woods’ amongst others.
Samantha’s Film & Television credits include the role of Harriet in E4’s ‘Skins’, Series 5 (Directed by Amanda Boyle), short film Do Not Disturb (Directed by Lorcan Reilly) in which she played the character of Amy and a welsh short film titled ‘My Valley’ (Directed by Neil Jones).
Music video’s include One Direction’s ‘Live While We’re Young’ (Modest Management) and Jedward’s ‘Bad Behaviour’ (UMI).
As well as acting Samantha also plays drums and is working on her own television script.
Samantha has a good ear for accents and is particularly strong with Welsh, RP, General American, General Irish, Lancashire & London. English is her mother tongue but she can always read and speak conversational Welsh.
