Katherine is a Northern Irish actress who graduated from The Lir National Academy of Dramatic Art Foundation course in 2015 before becoming a student of Bow Street Academy for Screen Acting.
When she was younger, Katherine performed for The Dungannon Drama Festival for Theatre & Poetry and was also a part of the Youth Music Theatre in Belfast with director Eddie Latter, which included the original performance of “LIVING NEXT DOOR.”
Most recently Katherine played the strong willed Shakespearean character ‘Portia’ in Tartarus Theatre Company’s sold out version of “JULIUS CAESAR” (2016) in Smock Alley Theatre, directed by Robbie O’Raw. During her time at The Lir she also played the role of ‘Juliet’ in “ROMEO AND JULIET” directed by Cathal Quinn and performed in “DANCING AT LUGHNASA” directed by David Horan.
She also took part in the BBC TV Drama “MY MOTHER AND OTHER STRANGERS” as Lieutenant Barnhill’s Cinema date and was one of the main lead’s for the prominent Irish Folk Band ‘In The Willows’ music video for their 2016 album “FALLEN BIRD.” She currently is in productions for the upcoming short film “SWEET KILL” directed by Gerard Petit de Mange in associations with Microdot productions.
Katherine enjoys photography, writing and is a trained ballet dancer, with the ‘Royal Academy of Dance,’ performing with “BALLET IRELAND” from a young age. She also is a strong swimmer with an American Red Cross Lifeguard certificate.
