Playing Age: 28 – 35
Eilis is a recent graduate of Trinity College having completed a BA in Drama and English Literature in 2015 and she is also a graduate of The Gaiety School of Acting’s 2 year, full time programme.
She most recently played Laura Daly in the devised, site-specific piece Separation in Limerick. Previous to this she performed in a rehearsed reading of Valerie Lynch’s play Gilligan’s Survivors in The New Theatre, and in the devised production For Every Atom Belonging To Me at The Samuel Beckett Theatre directed by Natalia Botanakis. She played Flavius in AC Productions’ revival of Timon of Athens at The Project Art Centre directed by Peter Reid. She has a particular interest in Shakespeare performance and has taken part in Shakespeare performance workshops with both Denis Conway and Donnacadh O’Briain.
Film and TV credits include the recurring role of Lara Newman in FAIR CITY, THE TUDORS, THE UKELELE METHOD, CREATURES OF KNOWLEDGE and ALIZARIN WOOD, which was premiered at the Cork Film Festival
At the 2013 ISDA’s Eilis was nominated for best actress for her performance as Mrs. Arbuthnot in A WOMAN OF NO IMPORTANCE.
She has also performed in The 10 Days in Dublin theatre festival, The Dublin International Gay Theatre Festival and with Bottom Dog Theatre on a number of occasions.
