Playing Age: 28 – 35
Eilis most recently performed in a work in progress piece called OUR PLACE that she wrote for this year’s Scene + Heard Festival at Smock Alley Theatre. OUR PLACE has been included in The New Theatre’s potential programme for 2019 for further development and production. In 2016 she co-wrote and performed in THE CROWN AND THE RED CROSS a site-specific production that took place through the rooms of Dublin Castle as their main commemorative event for 1916 directed by Matthew Ralli. Eilis has also worked on a number of devised productions including OWNED directed by Ailish Leavy as part of Scene + Heard and SEPARATION a site-specific production in Limerick directed by Shane Whisker.
Earlier this year she also performed in the first 24 HOUR PLAYS staged at The Belltable Theatre in Limerick. At the end of 2017 she played Yvonne in the Irish premiere of WHO WILL CARRY THE WORD? at The Complex for Blacklight Theatre Company. Previous to this she performed in a rehearsed reading of Valerie Lynch’s play GILLIGAN’S SURVIVORS in The New Theatre, and in the devised production FOR EVERY ATOM BELONGING TO ME at The Samuel Beckett Theatre directed by Natalia Botanakis. She played Flavius in AC Productions’ revival of TIMON OF ATHENS at The Project Arts Centre directed by Peter Reid.
Film and TV credits include the recurring role of Lara Newman in FAIR CITY, THE TUDORS, THE UKELELE METHOD, CREATURES OF KNOWLEDGE and ALIZARIN WOOD, which was premiered at the Cork Film Festival.
Eilis is a graduate of Trinity College having completed a BA in Drama and English in 2015 and she is also a graduate of The Gaiety School of Acting’s 2 year, full time programme.
