Andrew started acting after leaving UCD in 2015. He immersed himself in both Cork Gaiety Acting classes as well as UCC acting classes. During this time he played Padraig Pearse in the 2016 ST PATRICK’S PARADE, delivering 3 monologues to estimated crowds of 40,0000 people.
He trained for a year at The Colaiste Stiofain Nosta where he got to play Giri in THE RESISTIBLE RISE OF AUTURO UI.
He then moved on to the two year full time course at The Gaiety School of Acting where he had the opportunity of playing roles such as MACBETH, JPW King in GIGLI CONCERT, Petruchio in TAMING OF THE SHREW.
He played Noa in BELOW, BELOW in his final graduation play which was directed by Raymond Keane.
He played Paul in Bodecci Films’ THE ENGAGEMENT PARTY, directed by Laura Way as well as working on several IADT shorts.
Andrew is eager to learn and engage. He has a keen interest in drama, Shakespeare and physical theatre. He obtained a distinction in IDCA Stage Combat.
He is a strong Baritone singer.
